How do I get started with therapy?
Getting started is simple. Appointments are scheduled through my secure booking platform, Headway. This allows you to choose a time that works, enter your information, and verify insurance (if applicable).
Once scheduled, you’ll receive confirmation and any next steps needed before your first session.
If you have questions before booking or aren’t sure where to start, you’re welcome to reach out through the contact page. You can also leave a voicemail at my office number 618-539-2149. I’m happy to help guide the process.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is focused on understanding you. We will talk through what has been going on, what feels off, and what you are hoping will change.
There is no pressure to have everything figured out. The goal is to start building clarity and a direction that actually fits you.
Do I need to have a clear goal before starting therapy?
No. Many people start therapy because something feels off but they cannot fully explain it yet.
Part of the process is helping you make sense of what you are experiencing and identifying what meaningful change would look like for you.
Do you offer a consultation call?
Yes, I offer a free 15-minute consultation for prospective clients.
This can be helpful if you are unsure about starting therapy or want to get a sense of fit before committing to a full session.
